1. Jaishree studies 5 2/3 hours daily. She devotes 2 3/4 hours of her time for science and mathematics.How much time does she devote for other subjects?

2. Ramesh solve 2/7 part of an exercise while Reshma solved  4/5 of it. Who solved lesser part? By how much?

3. John ate 3/5 part of an apple and the remaining part was eaten by his sister Reena. How much part of the apple did Reena eat? Who had the larger share? By how much?

4. Raman's monthly salary is Rs9600/-. He spends 1/4 of his salary on food and out of the remaining, he spends 1/5 and 1/6 on the education of childern. Find
(i) how much does he spend on each part?
(ii) how much money is still left with him?

5. A ribbon is 42  meter long. How many pieces each of length 1 3/4 meter can be cut from it?

6. Convert the following decimals to fractions (in simplest forms):
(i) 0.8              (ii) 0.225        (iii) 0.0092        (iv)  3.025

7. Express 5cm in metre and kilometre.

10. Mohan packed 17.5kg sugar in a number of bags. He put 2.5 kg sugar in each bag. How many bags of sugar did he pack?
